Since we teach at college, early year and summer exchange dates are ideal for us (January through March or June through August). In fall, end of October to mid November also suits us. We prefer simultaneous long-term exchanges (3 to 5 weeks). |

Penthouse at lake of Zurich with magnificent lake and mountain view
Bright and quiet penthouse apartment on Lake of Zurich with lake view on both sides, approx. 50 m2 terraces, morning and evening sun, just under half an hour by public transport or car to downtown Zurich. Quiet and exquisite residential location. The apartment is rather small by international standards, but very nice, flooded with light and offers a lot of privacy in addition to the excellent location. From spring to autumn, the nearby beautiful beaches and clear water attract. In winter, we regularly use the cross-country ski trails in the area and the well-prepared ski slopes. Wädenswil is a small town with full infrastructure, an American school, popular among expats, and with a lot of charm.

Najbliższe lotnisko: Zurich Airport - 40 minutes by train
The beautiful peninsula Au is in the immediate vicinity, as well as the high moor near Rothenthurm, ideal for hiking from spring to autumn or cross-country skiing in winter. Although the full infrastructure with shopping centers in Wädenswil is given, the location is very quiet and preferred. We take small walks every evening high above Lake Zurich through the nearby agricultural zone. The neighbors are friendly and helpful, but discretion and privacy are always guaranteed.

Opis rodziny
We are a cosmopolitan and culturally interested couple. We love nature as well as the city. Kseniya is a translator and photographer. She does volunteer work in our community for refugees from Ukraine and other people who need our support. Marius is a university lecturer in visual storytelling. We have been married for 18 years. We enjoy playing tennis, hiking, swimming, and cross-country skiing. Marius also loves wind-foiling. We are very happy to take care of your pets (we had a male cat as a member of our family for many years).
Our hope is to immerse ourselves in this way in another life in a new place and find inspiration. We don't have pets ourselves but would be happy to take care of your pet if you like. A car exchange is possible, but not mandatory (by mutual agreement). This will be our first home exchange. We have no experience, but we promise to treat your home with care, as if it were our own. We kindly offer an exchange on MS Teams or Zoom to introduce ourselves and the apartment.
Styl życia
A wonderful place for hikes and walks. In summer, beautiful beaches and a peninsula attract. In summer it is half an hour to charming cross-country ski trails and ski slopes. The quiet surroundings also offer attractive excursions for cyclists. Zurich city center can be reached quickly and comfortably by public transport or by car.
