Big family house with nice nature around in the heart of Germany
Our home is a newly renovated house with focus on ecological materials. We have a good living climate and a family can feel well in our house.
We have a big kitchen connected with the living room with huge windows to the big terrace and garden.
On this floor there is also a bath room with shower and toilet and the master bedroom with a family bed (3x2m).
On the upper floor are 3 big kids rooms located where our children sleep and play. Two of the children's rooms have a king size bed an the third one a single house bed. On this floor there is also a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Additionaly there is an office, that could be used.
In the basement there are opportunities for loundry of course and additionally a bathroom with shower and toilet and a bedroom with a big double bed.
We have a lot of toys and games.

About the neighborhood
Our neighborhood is a quiet family area. Our house is the last one in a very small street and is then followed by a little wood.
A playground is directly nearby and the bus to the city center. You also can walk to the city center in about 30 minutes.
Coburg is a charming 40000 people city with a great castle and a good theatre.
In 30 minutes you reach Bamberg and in 1hour drive you reach Nuremberg in the south and Erfurt in the north.
In 3 hours drive you reach Munich.
The Thuringian Forest offers great hiking and nature possibilities.
Climbing park in 20 min
Wildlife park just around the corner
Very nice destinations with kids are:
Freizeitpark Schloss Thurn (leasure park - 40 min drive)
Saalfelder Feengrotten (show mine and a wonderful playing area for younger children, the "Feenwäldchen" - 1 hour drive)

Wir hatten einen sehr gelungenen Tausch. Der Kontakt war von Anfang an sehr nett und lief auch während des Tauschens total schön weiter. Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderbar gepflegt, sauber und schön - wie in der Beschreibung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Auch die Gegend ist wirklich schön und bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen sowohl in die Stadt als auch in die Natur. Wir hatten wirklich eine gute Zeit bei und mit euch! The house is wonderful with lovely interior, and offers plenty of space with lots of games for the children. We really enjoyed its location on the edge of the forest, yet still close to the city. There's a lot to explore in the area, with plenty of activities for children and families. The family is very kind and caring. We had regular contact via WhatsApp, and they provided us with many great tips and support whenever it was needed.

We are a family with two adults. Marcus is 53 and Magdalena is 43 years old. Magdalena experienced a lot of home exchange holidays as a child/teenager with her parents. Now we would like to exchange our home with others because it is a wonderful kind of holiday.
We have 3 children: Simon is born in 2015, Lotta in 2016 and Luise in 2020.
We would love to change with families that also have young children. But also other change offers are very welcome.
We love being in nature. We like geocaching, hiking, biking, swimming and everything outside. Inside we play a lot of board games.
