Comfortable and spacious apartment in the coastal town of Tarragona, 100 km away from Barcelona
Our apartment was refurbished last year, with a new kitchen and new bathrooms. It is located in the small city of Tarragona (90,000 inhabitants), just a 15 minute walk from the harbour and the city beach, and 10 minutes away from the town center. It has a community swimming pool and tennis court, and a private garden with swings for children.
Tarragona is a city where everything is at a walking distance. It has a great offer of restaurants and attractions. It was founded in the 5th century BC, and it used to be the capital of the Roman Empire province of "Hispania Citerior", so it is filled with Roman and medieval monuments.
From our apartment it is possible to walk to one of my favourite Roman sites: the so-called "Devil's Bridge".
You have also the possibility of visiting Port Aventura (at 15 kms), one of the most popular amusement parks in Southern Europe, with the most exciting rollercoasters. And right next to it you have Ferrariland, another theme park based around the racing car brand.
You can also take the train from the Tarragona train station (20 minute walk from our house) to Barcelona, and take a day trip to visit the main attractions there (Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, the Ramblas promenade or the Old City), or if you feel like it, spend the day in one of the near-by beaches of the "Costa Daurada" (Golden Coast), famous for their soft sand and clear waters.

The house was listed just exactly as we found it. The homeowners were incredibly hospitable, providing valuable information about local attractions, restaurants, and markets. Their thoughtfulness made our stay even more enjoyable and allowed us to experience Binic like a local. Binic, located on the northern coast of France, is a picturesque village with a charming harbor and beautiful beaches. Exploring the area was a pleasure, and there were numerous activities to enjoy. From water sports and coastal walks to cycling and hiking, there was something for everyone. The village's historical buildings and quaint streets added to its allure, providing a rich cultural experience.

Paula and Blanca are busy with school, basketball practices, piano lessons and English learning.
Depending on the dates of the exchange, it would be us 3 traveling, or maybe it would just be Núria, my current partner, and me.
