Spacious Flat in Santa Monica, California USA

We have a large, approximately 1500 square feet, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo in the coastal community of Santa Monica, California. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a full size bed. The living room sofa also converts to a queen size sleeper bed. Each of the beds can sleep 2.

For those who need workspace, there is a spacious office with plenty of natural light and a desk available for use.

The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled. The kitchen is modern with all new appliances. The bathrooms are fully equipped. One bathroom has a large shower and the other has a bath/shower with a whirlpool bathtub to relax after a long day of sight-seeing. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and a small sunny balcony if you are home but want to sit outside.

There is high speed wireless internet access throughout the unit, TV's in each room with Smart capabilities for streaming and digital media devices, DVD players and movies.

In additional to the references shown on the Intervac site we have done additional home trades throughout the years.

O okolicy

Santa Monica, the last stop on the historical Route 66, is a biking and walking city and has great local transportation. You can relax outdoors or enjoy local entertainment with bars, nightlife, shopping and movie theaters. We are just blocks away from Santa Monica Beach and Pier, Third Street Promenade, Montana Avenue. Also nearby and walkable for avid walkers are Santa Monica's Main Street, the Venice Boardwalk and Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Bike rental stores are nearby as well as rental docks for bikes, e-bikes, and e-scooters throughout the city. The bike path is just outside our home and leads to miles of beaches just 10 blocks away.
There are plenty of hiking areas in the nearby Santa Monica Mountains. With a car, bus or metro you can easily visit Malibu, Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Pasadena, Disneyland, Universal Studios, or other beach towns along the California Coastline.

Dear Intervac people, I sincerely hope Intervac is not going to be the next Airbnb with comments whether we yes or no would recommend our present Exchange to others. What’s right for us might not ne right for others. The sole reason for exchanging through Intervac is that Intervac is transparant, away from personal, and thus biased ratings. And most important as one member pointes out: Intervac is built on trust and reliability. Count your blessings. No other organisation I know can rely on these aspects. Several other Exchange sites have gone the Airbnb way. Very boring, along with the hype, etc. What to keep: Referencing. Improving listing by larger pictures. If a member is a former member, pls distinguish this in some way before you click on the listing. The number of former members I had to click through was enormous. Collette's place is ideally situated, within walking distance of the beach and all the amenities of Santa Monica. We had everything we could want in her apartment. She responded to all my questions! We had a non simultaneous exchange and it worked out great for us. We would certainly recommend Collette and her place.
