Flat on Köpstadsö, Sweden
Our home is part of a villa, that we share with our children’s grandparents (we have our own, separate part. of the house).
In the first floor, there is the hallway, washroom and a spare bedroom.
On the second floor there is an open plan arrangement between the lounge, dining room and kitchen.
There are 2 bed rooms on the second floor, 2 double, and a small guestroom with 120 cm wide bed. One bathroom (only shower, no bathtub).
We have a Wii and Xbox consoles with multiple games, as well as Netflix available.
Good sized garden with multiple seating areas.
We have our own private pier and bathing platform as the garden is situated by the water line.
There is also a small public beach 20 meters from one end of the garden that is quiet and suitable for smaller children, but also provides bathing platform.
On the second floor, there is a balcony, with lovely views over the ocean and archipelago.
From the dining table area there are lovely views over the sea, archipelago as well as over a small yacht harbour.
Approx. 1 minute walk from our house is tennis court, and there is also a small playground, 5 min walk from the house.
In the summer the island is a livelier place, with visiting boats, and summer guests. But as our garden is quite spacious and have a variety of places to be, you can always find quiet areas.
On our balcony we have afternoon and evening sun, and it is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset.
Ferries to the mainland go regularly, usually every hour, and the trip takes about 15 minutes.
From the ferry harbour, it takes approx. 25 -35 minutes to the city centre of Gothenburg, with the tram. And approx 15-25 minutes by car. Mind you, Gotheburg is currently undergoing major construction work, all throu out the city center (-> 2025). Avoiding using car into the city center is recommended.
There are no cars on the island, and no need for one as our island is a small one. We have our car by the ferry harbour on the mainland.
If you zoom in on the Google map, and turn on satellite, you will se our house and where it is situated on the island.
It is optional to watch our cat Åke. He tends to be mainly downstairs when there are strangers to him, in the house.

We are Lotta, Martin, Sara age 27 and Emma age 24 (not living at home)
Our family consists, apart of us humans, of our cat Åke.
We will leave him at home, but can easily have Åke taken care of by the grandparents, downstairs. Åke is an outdoor cat, but requires feeding, if you'd like to care for him.
The grandparents have a dog (Beagle). So there are animals present in the house.
