Askim, Norway

We are a family of four (two kids(?) borned 1992 and 1995) and we live in a house buildt in 2004 with an above average green standard. For excample we heat the house with a geothermal heat pump and during the summertime this system keep the water in our outdoor pool around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). We also use only renewable energy/electricity in our house.
Our house is located in the outskirts of a small town called Askim with about 15 000 inhabitants. 5 minutes walking from our house is the main road between Oslo (the capital of Norway) and Stockholm (the capital of Sweden) where buses towards Oslo goes at least every hour. It's a great location for exploring Scandinavia.
It's 50km to the centre of Oslo, 500km to Stockholm and 600km to Copenhagen (halfway to Copenhagen is Gothenburg - second largest swedish city). 40km to the swedish border and some of Norways most beautiful fjords are around 400km from our house (google pictures Geiranger or Prekestolen for some amazing pictures).
Our cars are good cars for vacations and we have several bicycles. Indoor there will be a computer connected to the web of course that you can use.
