We are always open to suggestions. We are particularly looking for an exchange with northern Europe for August of 2024.

Our lovely San Francisco Bay Area home was remodeled twelve years ago in a classic style. It shares a large yard with two other houses. The yard has a wood fired oven, a grill, a hot tub, a well-equipped workout area, and a common dining table on a large deck. We share the yard and amenities with the two other houses. Curtis' sister Jennifer and her partner Pauly live in the front house on the property. They are a two parent family and their 17 year old son lives with them. Jennifer and Pauly's house is on the street and our house is behind, reached through the yard. The third house is also on the street and our friends Ann and Clea live there. Ann and Pauly both speak Spanish and French passably.

It's really easy to get around on foot. It is an easy walk to Berkeley's Gourmet Gulch, Downtown Berkeley and the University of California. We also have three bikes you can use. The local rail system, BART, is three blocks away and will take you to downtown San Francisco in 25 minutes and either the Oakland or San Francisco airport in under an hour. You are also welcome to use either of our two electric cars.

We have four bedrooms, one with a king size bed and two with queen sized beds. We also have an office with a pull down queen size bed and a family room with comfortable chairs, a TV, and a single bed. Our large and well equiped kitchen has an induction range, a double oven, a built in refrigerator and freezer, and a dishwasher. There is lots of light in every room.

We would ask you to take care of our friendly cat by feeding him, letting him out in the morning and back in at night, and petting him some. We are happy to take care of your pets, too.
