Beautiful Modern Scandinavian House at South West Coast of Finland.
We live in a very nice and quiet area, near the forest and the sea. Our house is located 6 kilometers from the Oldest town of Finland, Turku and situated in a very peaceful and natural village/countryside area. The capital of Finland Helsinki, is located about 150km and reachable by train or car.
Our recently built house is 170 m2 and there is a garden with grill and large terrace. It has four bedrooms, large living room with open kitchen (fully equipped), two bathrooms (one within master bedroom with bath tube/jacuzzi, another one with large wood- burning sauna!). You are free to enjoy the Finnish Sauna in our home! Wifi connection available with interactive television with Netflix.
Larger city Turku, is located a 10 minute drive or bus trip away and has a lot to offer for both adults and kids. Turku, Finland’s oldest city, began to grow in the 13th century on the river Aura estuary. The Aura river is Turku´s heart and soul, along which the most of the city´s famous attractions and best restaurant are concentrated. Its also easy to get to the amazing archipelago of Turku by ferries. From Turku you can also take a ferry trip to the capital of Sweden, Stockholm or Åland and enjoy the see for 12 or 24 hours. Also Finland’s largest cities, Helsinki and Tampere are easily reachable by train or car in less than 2 hours.
Nearby our house you can find beautiful walking and biking routes to forest and seashore, where you can find also nice picnic places with fireplaces. About 3 kilometers away there are couple of nice beaches and in a nearby town you can find also heated outdoor pools.
We have 2 bicycles for adults and 1 for kids/teenagers, and would prefer a car exchange (Tesla). Local buses to town goes often from the nearby bus stop.

Closest airports to our home are Turku, about 20 km and Helsinki about 150 km away. If you fly to Helsinki you could take low cost train or bus to Turku, which is 6 km from our home.

We are a family of 4 persons. Kai ( works as a management consultant), Giang (works as a head of Marketing), Eero (19) , Okko (18)
We love outdoor activities like hiking, biking, downhill skiing and swimming. On our holidays we'd like to spend a lot of time in the nature and enjoy some daytrips to city and explore food and culture.
This is would be our second home exchange and we have travelled a lot and used also Airbnb for accommodation.
