House with garden in Järvenpää, Southern Finland
Our house is old house, which has modern comforts but still remaining some old charm. The house is situated near the center of Järvenpää. Shops and beach are in walking distance. Our house is quite small, about 115 sqm, but we have four bedrooms. Two of them are with double bed, one bedroom with 120 cm bed and one with sofa bed. Glass terrace is nice living place in summer. .
We have big 2000 sqm garden with patio, where you can barbecue and enjoy your meal. The garden consist of several beautiful apple trees. There is also a trampoline for playing.
We have free wifi. .
We are open to long weekend offers in Europe all the year.

O okolicy
Järvenpää is a small town (about 40 000 inhabitants) with good services. Our town is about 40 km north from Helsinki. Our house is 700 meters from the center of Järvenpää, so many shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Our house is near train and bus stations. Helsinki city center is half an hour by train.
The lake Tuusula with a few swimming places is also close. The Lake Tuusula surroundings is a unique region, which is full of Finnish cultural history and thus it is very popular sightseeing. You can reach those sights easily by bike from our home.
Many cities in southern Finland are possible visiting places in one or two hours drive by car from our home. For example Tampere, Turku, Jyväskylä and Lahti. Or perhaps you'd like to take a walk in national park of Nuuksio or Sipoonkorpi (see www.outdoors.fi). If you look for a place where don't need to drive a car, our home is suitable for that, because all the main sightseeings can be reached by public transport, by bicycle or even on foot.
Many of our guests have visited Estonia during their exchange. The day trip with a ferry is quite cheap and nice experience.

We spend lot of our Weekends on our second home in Hirvensalmi, around nature. But we also like seeing towns and cities everywhere. Especially art museums and cafes intrest us. .
Our hobby is cross-country skiing in winter. In summer we bicyckle and walk. Antti, my husband has just retaired. He likes skating and jogging. My hobbies are reading and gym.
Our children are already grown ups and they rarely travel with us.
