A nice apartment in Tuscany
We live in Fornacette, a small town located 20 km from Pisa. Our apartment is very bright and has been recently renovated. It features parquet flooring and is situated on the second floor of a building with a private garden that overlooks a small public park. Outside the garden, there is plenty of free parking available. The area is urban, but the neighborhood and the building are very quiet.
We can host up to 5 people - 3 bedrooms: a double bed (140x190 cm), a bunk bed (100x200 cm), a single bed (90x200 cm) . The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and a TV with streaming platforms (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.).
Within a hundred meters from our home, you’ll find many useful services: a large supermarket and a pharmacy (both open on Sundays), a laundromat, a post office, a gas station, restaurants and pizzerias, tennis, padel, basketball, and five-a-side football courts. The area is also well-served by major food delivery services (Just Eat, Deliveroo, etc.).
We are in a strategic location in Tuscany, just a short drive or public transport ride from Pisa (20 km), Lucca (25 km), Florence (80 km), Siena (100km) and Livorno (20 km).
If you travel by car, you can enjoy day trips to charming medieval towns such as Vinci (40 km), Volterra (45 km), San Gimignano (55 km), Monteriggioni (80 km), Certaldo (60 km), or visit San Miniato (25 km), located on the Via Francigena. You can also reach the Chianti hills or the seaside (30 km) at Tirrenia, Marina di Pisa or Viareggio.
If you prefer travelling by train, the Pontedera railway station is only 5 km away (10 min by bus) and offers regular connections to Florence, Pisa, Livorno, and Siena. The Pisa–Pontedera bus line is also frequent and convenient.
Moreover, we are just a few meters from the Arno Cycle Path, a scenic dirt trail that leads to Pisa and, from there, all the way to the sea.
From and to Pisa Airport: 15 minutes by car, or about 60 minutes by public means

Laurent and Anne Corbè were wonderful hosts – very welcoming and clear in their instructions. They provided us with plenty of useful information and materials to explore Alsace and the surrounding areas. They were always available whenever we needed clarification. Their home is spacious, warm, and comfortable, located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We also found its location to be perfect for visiting Strasbourg and Alsace in general. Highly recommended!
