Vienna - 2-bedroom apartment within walking distance of the Opera, Hofburg, Museumsquartier ...
Dear Intervac-friends,
Our flat is located on the second floor (no elevator) of a traditional building from the beginning of the 20th century.
Most sights such as the Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts & Natural History, the Hofburg, the Museumsquartier, the Sezession or Stephansdom are within walking distance. It will only take you two minutes to get to Mariahilfer Strasse, the most popular Viennese shopping street and from there it is only a short hop to Stephansdom. If you don´t want to walk, you can reach the underground U1,U2,U3 or U4 within 7 minutes.
Our apartment is very close to Naschmakt, the main market, and our district has become very trendy in the last couple of years. So you will find many hip restaurants, bars, galleries, and cafes (as for example the famous Cafe Sperl) just around the corner.
The apartment has around 56 square meters and is equipped with all necessary household appliances.
We know what it means to swap homes and can assure you that we are very considerate and will take the best care of your home.

Appartement confortable et, surtout, très très bien situé en plein centre de Vienne.
Het appartement was heel geschikt voor 2 personen, misschien 2 volwassenen en 1 kind. Contact met de ruilpartners was uitstekend. Aan te bevelen!
Familjen vill bytte med var otroligt trevliga att ha att göra med - dels så arrangerades bytet så att vi under vår vistelse i Österrike fick tillgång till två olika hem på olika orter och dessutom fick vi en massa tips och information. Båda boenden var över förväntan, otroligt smakfulla lägenheter med bra utrustning och ordning samt lokaliserade på bästa tänkbara ställe med närhet till allt. Det var toppen!
Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und ruhig, wunderbar für vier Personen. Die Lage ist perfekt um Wien zu entdecken, der Naschmarkt ist um die Ecke und es gibt viele wunderbare REstaurants in der Umgebung. Vielen Dank für den super Tausch!

Dear Intervac friends,
Our apartment in Vienna, which we are offering for exchange, was our home until we moved back to Enns, our small hometown in Upper Austria, because of the children and grandparents. Hannes and I now enjoy the quiet life in the countryside, where we both teach at an agricultural school. Our children Emilie and Vinzenz, on the other hand, now both study in Vienna and have moved into our apartment in Vienna.
As the whole family loves this kind of vacation, we have started swapping apartments again after a corona break. Sometimes it will just be Hannes and me travelling, other times maybe Vinzenz with his sister Emilie or with Kim, his girlfriend. And as we all get on really well, we might even plan a few family trips.
We all know what it means to swap homes and can assure you that we are very considerate and will take the best care of your home.
If you are also interested in getting to know our lovely home town of Enns in Upper Austria https://erlebe.enns.at/entdecken?sort=best&distance=10 and its beautiful surroundings, we can offer you the studio flat on the ground floor of our townhouse. A second apartment may also be available. St. Florian, Steyr, Linz and several golf courses are in the immediate vicinity of Enns. Salzburg and Vienna are approx. 1.5 hours away from Enns. The popular Salzkammergut region with all its beautiful lakes and sights such as Hallstatt or Bad Ischl can be reached in around 1 -1.5 hours.
