A 100 year old farmhouse, with views of Snowdonia mountains, on the island of Anglesey
Previously a farmhouse, our home is on the outskirts of a small village on Anglesey, the island off the North West edge of Wales. We have views of the Snowdonia mountains from the house and garden, which are approximately 20 minutes away by car, and a range of stunning beaches on the island, the closest also being 20 minutes away.
We have a large garden, field (with a small orchard and vegetable garden) and several wooded areas, with plenty of seating areas, a trampoline and a swing.
Within walking distance there is access to the Anglesey Costal footpath, a stone age burial chamber and many footpaths through the fields. The National Trust stately house: Plas Newydd, is approximately 5 minutes away by car.
The nearest shops and train station are in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwillllantysiliogogogoch (the longest place name in Europe), approx 10 minutes away by car.

Nearest Airport: Liverpool or Manchester - 87miles (Liverpool); 82 miles (Manchester)
Llanddaniel village is small and friendly. It is surrounded by farmland, with various footpaths around. From the house you can see the Neolithic burial chamber you can walk to.https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-to-visit/bryn-celli-ddu-chambered-tomb
Our nearest beach is Traeth Llanddwyn (Newborough beach). It is a scenic beach with a lighthouse on a tidal island and views of the mountains. It is accessed through Newborough forest, which has good cycling and walking trails. https://www.visitwales.com/attraction/beach/llanddwyn-beach-1821332. There are many other beaches all around the island.
Close by is Plas Newydd, a Stately home managed by the National trust. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wales/plas-newydd-house-and-garden
The Snowdonia mountains are easily reached, with lots of different levels of walks, lakes you can swim and kayak in, and the heritage railways you can ride. https://www.tripsavvy.com/guide-to-snowdonia-national-park-1662552.
There are also lots of castles (Castells in Welsh) to visit: Beaumaris on on Anglesey, Caernarfon just across the water on the mainland, and Conwy 30 minutes away: https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/best-history/castles-town-walls-king-edward-gwynedd
